Strawberry Summer Cake

I really, really, REALLY wish it looked like summer right now. It was sunny for the past couple days, but today we're back to this.

So, to combat the depression that comes hand in hand with 55 degree weather in June, I decided to make a cake…but not just any cake…a cake that has the word summer in the name!

This cake was DELICIOUS, and didn't last long at our house. The recipe came from Smitten Kitchen, which is one of the best food blogs. Ever. Anyway, you should go make some of this Strawberry Summer Cake, right now and appreciate the fact you live somewhere warm.
